SiGMA Sustainability and ESG

Driving responsible growth across events, media, and the global gaming

“Sustainability is not a separate initiative, it defines how we operate and grow.”
Eman Pulis, Founder, SiGMA Group

At SiGMA, sustainability is embedded in how we operate across events, media, and education platforms. Our ESG strategy focuses on reducing environmental impact, strengthening social values, and upholding strong governance standards.

1. Waste Reduction and Sustainable Events

We are reducing the environmental impact of our events through practical, scalable changes.

ESG & Events

Fair Play Charter

The Fair Play Charter, is a new code of conduct that all teams will be required to sign before taking part in sporting activities held alongside its global events. The charter forms part of SiGMA’s broader ESG commitments, extending the company’s Social and Governance standards from the conference floor onto the pitch, court and course. The Fair Play Charter sets out seven core principles for all participating teams: Respect for others; Integrity of competition; Safety first; Inclusion and respect; Professional conduct; Dispute resolution and Environmental responsibility.

Sustainable Venues

At SiGMA, we recognise that the venues we choose play an important role in advancing our ESG commitments. For the SiGMA North America Affiliate Retreat 2026, we selected the 5-star NIZUC Resort & Spa, a recipient of the EarthCheck Gold Certification 2025.

Set within a unique natural environment of protected mangroves and the white sands of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the world’s second-largest coral reef system, NIZUC is home to a diverse range of protected marine life, reinforcing the importance of preserving the ecosystems in which our events take place.

Responsible Gaming Tracks

A more sustainable and responsible gaming industry starts with open dialogue, collaboration and the exchange of ideas. That is why responsible gaming is a recurring focus across our summits, with dedicated panels, keynotes and discussions bringing together industry leaders, regulators, policymakers and other stakeholders.

These sessions explore the challenges and opportunities facing the gaming sector, including player protection, safer gambling practices, regulatory developments and the industry’s role in promoting responsible participation.
