From chasing millions to changing millions

In my 30s, my dream was to become a millionaire; to achieve financial freedom. Ten years later, the dream remains, but the metric has changed.
Today, I measure wealth by the number of lives impacted. If I can help lift a million people out of poverty, then I’ve become a true millionaire. That’s my personal commitment to the SiGMA Foundation. One million lives. One true legacy.

What Our Hikers Say

I started trekking four years ago during a really tough time in my life. I’d just come out of a long-term relationship when I bumped into Keith at a conference. That conversation ended up changing everything. Back then, weekends were about late nights and partying. Suddenly, I had a reason to wake up early—to train, move, and reset. I haven’t looked back since. Through Sigma’s treks, I found a supportive, like-minded community.

After losing my mum and feeling lost, my daughter introduced me to Sigma trekking. It was the best thing that could have happened—snapped me out of my comfort zone. I’ve made new friends, many younger than me, and discovered parts of Malta and Gozo I didn’t know. These treks gave me a wake-up call to restart physical activity—overall, they’ve been a mental and physical boost. Now I’m always looking forward to the next one and the Camino coming up.

Sigma Trails gave me space to breathe, reflect, and grow. Along the way, I made connections that truly touched my heart. Sharing this time with my mum—training, laughing, and pushing our limits together—was deeply special. Walking those trails wasn’t just about the destination; it was about purpose. Through it all, I found the courage to open my heart, to trust, to love, and to embrace a relationship that brought real meaning into my life.

Joining the Sigma weekly treks gave me a sense of purpose, energised my soul, and introduced me to a group of like-minded friends who have nature and the environment at heart.

Trekking with the Sigma community has been life-changing for me. I not only made great friends—I also did a full 360 on my lifestyle and quit smoking after 12 years.

These treks have been monumental for my mental health. They’ve helped me think clearer, make new friends, and see beautiful parts of Malta I didn’t even know existed.

Joining Sigma’s weekly treks helped me discover the beautiful essence of Malta, Gozo, and Comino. It also gave me a sense of belonging to a tribe with a shared love for nature, adventure, and well-being.

I joined the Sigma Foundation trekking group four years ago, and it’s been a rewarding journey ever since. I’ve discovered parts of Malta I never knew existed—breathtaking landscapes and hidden trails. The real magic, though, is the community. I’ve made lasting friendships and supported causes that matter. Trekking with Sigma is about connection, well-being, and giving back.

I’ve always been active, so for me, joining the Sigma Foundation group was about fun trekking holidays and building social connections. I’ve met wonderful people who are now good friends, and I know that through Sigma, I’m also helping those less fortunate.

What I love most about the trekking groups is the new hobby I’ve discovered—plus getting to see some of Malta and Gozo’s most beautiful places with a group of friendly, like-minded people.

Trekking with the Sigma community isn’t just about fitness—it’s a ritual that recharges my body and mind. I’ve met incredible people, formed genuine friendships, and discovered parts of nature I’d never have explored on my own.

Joining the Sigma treks increased our circle of friends. We’ve made new ones, reconnected with old ones, and gotten to know people we only knew by sight. Our weekends are full now—with parties, fun, and fitness too.

Donate Goods, Create Impact.

Help us fill two containers with essentials for children in Guatemala.

Our industry is fortunate. Many of us live and work in comfort, with access to resources that can change lives elsewhere. The SiGMA Foundation is coordinating the collection of two 40-foot containers, one from our Malta office and one from our Cyprus office to support children and communities in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala.

We are collecting toys, laptops, clothes, and stationery that are in good, usable condition. If your company has upgraded equipment, or if your team has items no longer in use, we’d love to hear from you.

Our goal is to fill both containers by October 2026 and ship them in time for Christmas delivery.

Register your interest below and our team will contact you to coordinate next steps.

I love what Keith Marshall and the SiGMA Foundation are doing with the underprivileged in Ethiopia and we felt it only befitting that Missio Malta would take a good step forward to assist with their efforts on the ground. Long may they continue.

The School in Jimma Bonga inaugurated last January by the SiGMA Foundation means education for 1,000 students annually. Education is the base for development and peaceful living, as well as fraternity and solidarity, and I thank all of the Maltese people who have been helping our poor through the SiGMA Foundation.

I’ve known Keith for about 20 years and he has a very soft, generous heart, impacting the lives of 1000s of children; to which our Vicariate will be eternally grateful. We welcome with open arms all contributions to the SiGMA Foundation and continue their good work among the poorest of our community.

The SiGMA Foundation has been our long-term partner and collaborator in terms of education. The groups of people they are bringing to support us in Jimma Bonga have impacted many things in the lives of our children. When you teach a generation, you are building the future, and the SiGMA Foundation has been crucial to us in this regard.

For us in Ethiopia and the Vicariate of Jimma Bonga, Malta is a very important island precisely because of people like those in the SiGMA Foundation. The Foundation fully understands that you must act now to build a better tomorrow. We are grateful for the dozens of generations that are going to benefit from the Foundation’s and Keith Marshall’s love and dedication to education.
