Held at the Conrad Manila Hotel ballroom, doors opened to the fifth edition of the Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific 2026, bringing the region’s leading gaming operators and suppliers together. The ceremony takes place during the SiGMA Asia Summit – which runs this week until 03 June.
The awards recognised the strongest performers from the Asia-Pacific gaming industry over the previous twelve months across ten categories.
Taking to the stage, SiGMA Founder Eman Pulis spoke of how it had been his dream to launch SiGMA Asia – one that was nearly derailed by the pandemic. “We’re back, he said, stronger, and leading the pack in bringing the community to Asia.”
He went on to emphasise how SiGMA’s vision for 2030 is to turn the brand into the most trusted community for the iGaming community worldwide – by gunning on all fronts for B2B, B2C, and B2G, and through the festivalisation of its summits.
“With 8 summits annually, we are the only conference producer covering the whole globe. Our mantra, he went on to say, is to promote the idea that regulated gaming is the only way to go.”

Commenting on this year’s awards ceremony, Global Gaming Insider Founder and CEO Gary Roudette shared his thoughts on the evolution of the industry, saying that:
“Throughout the past year, APAC further strengthened its position on the global stage. Established markets such as Macau and Singapore continued to build on their momentum, with Macau sustaining its post-pandemic recovery and Singapore setting new benchmarks, including Marina Bay Sands reporting the greatest quarter in the history of casino hotels. Meanwhile, emerging destinations are stepping confidently into the spotlight. Notably, the opening of new integrated resorts, such as City of Dreams Sri Lanka signals ongoing investment and long-term confidence in the region’s future as a world-class entertainment hub.
“Regulatory progress across several jurisdictions has provided greater clarity and stability, encouraging sustainable growth while reinforcing responsible gaming practices, with markets such as the Philippines strengthening oversight.”
The Global Gaming Awards is renowned for their stringent shortlisting and voting procedures. The shortlist is crafted through extensive research by the Gambling Insider team, input from independent industry experts, and an assessment of self-nominations submitted by companies.
