Focus Gaming News supports SiGMA Foundation’s Camino Primitivo adventure expedition for clean water in Guatemala
Focus Gaming News is excited to announce its sponsorship of the SiGMA Foundation’s Camino Primitivo Adventure Expedition, taking place from May 01-08, 2026. The initiative, which traverses the historic Galician countryside in Spain, aims to raise funds and awareness for the Clay Filtration System Project in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala. This project seeks to provide safe drinking water to underserved communities in the region.
“Over the years, we have evolved from being a media partner covering their global events to becoming active collaborators in their social mission,” said Fernando Saffores, Founder and CEO of Focus Gaming News. “What has shaped this connection is a deep alignment of values: a relentless passion for innovation in the gaming sector and a firm belief that our reach as a media outlet should be used to amplify meaningful causes.”
The Camino Primitivo adventure is a unique journey that blends physical challenge with social good, supporting the Clay Filtration System Project. This effort will bring affordable water filters to people in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala, so local families can have clean water.
“We don’t see SiGMA just as an event organiser, but as a partner in building a more responsible and connected global community,” added Saffores. “The Camino Primitivo Expedition represents the next step in our partnership, a direct reflection of Focus Gaming News’ core values: integrity, solidarity, and leadership by example.”
While Focus Gaming News will not be physically attending the expedition, the company is firmly committed to supporting the SiGMA Foundation’s mission, both through editorial support and financial backing. Saffores emphasised, “True leadership is about using your platform to pave the way for ethical initiatives. By putting ourselves at the forefront of these projects, we hope to set a standard for what corporate responsibility should look like in the 21st century.”

During the Camino Primitivo, participants will walk about 300 kilometres over the course of a week. Their hard work will help bring clean water to more than 1,000 families in Guatemala. Focus Gaming News is committed to supporting this cause and showing that business success and social responsibility go hand in hand.
“Our hearts and our full editorial support are with every participant,” Saffores remarked, expressing solidarity with the adventurers. “To the pilgrims: your physical effort is a powerful testament to our industry’s solidarity, and we are proud to amplify your journey and the message behind it.”
Focus Gaming News encourages its community and readers to follow the SiGMA Foundation’s social media channels for live updates and highlights throughout the journey. By amplifying these stories, Focus Gaming News hopes to inspire even more industry leaders to engage in corporate social responsibility.
