Licences

ThrillTech acquires Gibraltar B2B supplier licence

ThrillTech, a software company which specialises in side-bet jackpot technology, has announced that it has been granted a gambling services B2B licence in Gibraltar.

The company described this development as a “regulatory milestone”, which it said will enable it to supply its offerings to regulated iGaming operators licensed in the Gibraltar jurisdiction.

“The acquisition of the Gibraltar licence marks a significant step in ThrillTech’s rapid international expansion,” it said. “Gibraltar is widely recognised as a premier hub for tier-one global betting and gaming operators. With this new approval, ThrillTech can further empower its existing multinational partners and forge new relationships…”

ThrillTech co-founder Benjamin Bradtke remarked that “Gibraltar is home to some of the industry’s most prestigious operators,” as he continued that this approval both accelerates the company’s global expansion strategy and also allows it to provide major operators licensed in Gibraltar with “new layers of player engagement”.

iGaming aggregation platform Groove has announced that it has acquired a Brazilian licence, which it said cements its LatAm expansion.

It continued that “this landmark regulatory approval marks a decisive moment in Groove’s strategic blueprint for Latin America,” which it said forms part of a vision which has been further reinforced by “the significant strengthening of its established and fully regulated infrastructure in Argentina”.

Rachel Tourgeman, Head of Partnerships at Groove, remarked that “the green light in Brazil is more than a licence; it is a key that unlocks a kingdom of opportunity for our partners”.

Yahale Meltzer, co-founder and CEO of Groove, commented that securing a Brazilian licence and reinforcing the company’s Argentine operations is a testament to the team’s long-term commitment to LATAM, adding that Groove is “actively architecting the future of iGaming in the region”.
