MGM Resorts International and BetMGM have renewed their partnerships with Major League Baseball (MLB), extending a relationship that began in 2018 when the companies became the league’s first official gaming and sports betting partners.
The companies shared that the multi-year agreements will see MGM Resorts continue as MLB’s exclusive integrated resort and casino partner, while BetMGM retains extensive branding and sports wagering integration across the league’s media platforms.
“As Major League Baseball continues to evolve, we’re pleased to extend a partnership that aligns with our long-term vision for global sports and entertainment,” Lance Evans, Senior Vice President of Sports & Sponsorships at MGM Resorts International, said.
“From Las Vegas and throughout the world, we’re focused on providing premium experiences that connect sports with hospitality,” he added.
MLB events remain a focus
Under the agreement, MGM Resorts will continue supporting fan-focused experiences across its destinations, including the development of MLB Awards Week in Las Vegas and other events designed to promote baseball stars.
BetMGM will continue marketing its sports betting products across MLB platforms, including MLB Network, MLB.com and the league’s digital portfolio in the United States and Canada. The operator will also maintain sponsorship integration within MLB content on Apple TV and continue offering MLB-themed casino games through its online casino platform.
Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer at BetMGM, highlighted baseball’s appeal to sports bettors and fans. “Major League Baseball offers one of the most engaging, data-rich experiences in sports, and this renewal underscores our shared commitment to innovation, integrity, and responsibility,” Prevost said.
Responsible gaming remains central
MGM Resorts and BetMGM said responsible gaming will remain a key part of the partnership. Both companies will continue promoting GameSense, a player protection programme developed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and integrated across MGM Resorts properties and BetMGM’s digital platforms. BetMGM will also maintain its anti-athlete harassment policy to protect players and preserve sporting integrity.
The renewed focus follows an announcement made in February 2026, when MGM Resorts and BetMGM pledged more than $1 million towards responsible gaming initiatives. The funding included support for research into sports wagering behaviour, as well as programmes focused on prevention, education and treatment.
League praises decade-long collaboration
MLB said the renewal builds on a partnership that has grown alongside the expansion of legal sports betting in North America. “MGM Resorts and BetMGM have been great partners to Baseball for nearly a decade,” Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Corporate Partnerships, said. “We’re excited to continue our relationship and together help create more unique experiences for our fans.”
In addition to the league-wide agreements, MGM Resorts and BetMGM maintain partnerships with several MLB clubs, including the Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Nationals.
