Philippine gaming technology firm PhilWeb Corp. has announced a new partnership with PT Gaming and NUSTAR Online to launch a new game content distribution and aggregation platform.
The move marks PhilWeb’s official entry into the content aggregation segment. Initial rollouts are expected to include PT Gaming and NUSTAR Online, drawing attention to different segments of the domestic market.
The development follows PhilWeb Corp. securing accreditation from Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), allowing it to operate as a gaming affiliate and support service provider. The move reflects a broader push to formalise online gaming, as regulators tighten oversight and bring more activity within licensed frameworks.
The accreditation opened the doors for the company to deliver technology solutions, system integration and operational support to licenced operators under the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). Rather than running games directly, PhilWeb is positioning itself as a backend provider, supplying the infrastructure that powers digital gaming platforms.
In an official confirmation on the Philippines Stock Exchange, PhilWeb President Brian Ng outlined the development as a “pivotal stage” for the sector, pointing to a broader shift towards a more structured and transparent environment. The company said it intends to support this transition by building scalable systems while working closely with regulators and industry stakeholders.
The firm is adopting an asset-light business-to-business model, concentrating on platform management, systems integration and operational services. This approach allows it to scale across multiple operators without requiring heavy investment in physical gaming assets.
Already in partnership with Hann casino
The company has previously worked with major integrated resort operators such as Hann Casino Resort and Okada Manila, providing platform operations and infrastructure support. It has also partnered with FBM Philippines to roll out gaming systems across venues nationwide.
The company also partnered with Hann Casino Resort, which marked PhilWeb’s entry into the domestic online gaming space. The platform, launched on 5 February 2026, operates within the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation’s licensed eGames and Philippine Inland Gaming Operator (PIGO) segment, aimed at local players rather than offshore markets.
Under the deal, the company developed and deployed a full online gaming platform for Hann, featuring more than 3,000 casino titles. It integrates payment options such as GCash and Maya, alongside round-the-clock operational support and compliance with responsible gaming rules. PhilWeb has also entered similar arrangements with other partners, linking land-based casino operations with online platforms.
Plans to invest more in gaming tech
Furthermore, the company states that it will continue to invest in technology infrastructure to meet rising demand and comply with changing regulatory standards in the country. By operating within PAGCOR’s framework, the company gains added credibility, which may support future partnerships both domestically and internationally.
Observers observe a clear trend where operators increasingly depend on specialised technology providers to manage platforms and ensure compliance. And so, for PhilWeb, the accreditation is a major shift from a traditional gaming operator to a technology-driven service provider within a more tightly regulated market.
