SiGMA Magazine issue 35 spotlights Denys Galenko, Co-Founder and CEO of Allpass.ai, whose feature details how a home‑grown solution for identity verification evolved into a configurable KYC and AML platform for regulated markets, distributed during SiGMA Central Europe earlier this month. Centred on clear controls, independence for compliance teams, and measurable gains in pass rates, the piece tracks how Allpass.ai’s approach aims to boost conversion while maintaining auditability and privacy for operators in sectors including iGaming. Notably, Allpass.ai was the victorious startup company at SiGMA AIBC Euro‑Med Startup Pitch 2025, reflecting industry recognition for its approach to identity verification.
Product roots and purpose
Born as an internal tool to remove onboarding friction, Allpass.ai matured into a market platform with configurable flows and a clean interface designed for non‑technical users to own their verification logic end to end. “From day one, we wanted to make digital identity checks simple and fast, but also give teams more independence,” says Galenko, framing a philosophy that lets compliance teams design flows instead of accepting fixed options. Galenko’s background spans over a decade in financial controlling and leadership, bringing operational rigour to KYC, AML, and onboarding from Allpass.ai’s founding in 2020.
GDPR erasure is implemented while preserving auditability, with personal data deleted on request and the verification case retained in anonymised form through an internal ID, timestamp, and deletion reason. “In practice, this anonymises the record,” Galenko notes, ensuring sensitive information is removed while the audit trail endures for regulatory evidence and oversight. For operators, the model combines privacy assurance with the documentation discipline that regulators expect in high‑risk, high‑velocity environments.
Frictionless onboarding results
Allpass.ai uses guided UX, auto‑capture, and automated corrections for glare, blur, and perspective to reduce retries and abandonment without weakening controls. “Right now our first‑pass success rate is about 95 percent,” says Galenko, attributing uplift to clarity at each step and machine‑led capture that cuts loops and smooths the journey. The outcome is a measurable improvement in first‑try success that resonates with regulated operators focused on both conversion and control efficacy.
Instead of hard‑coded sector presets, the platform offers a flow builder so teams can compose checks, thresholds, and sequences across banking, crypto, and iGaming needs. “The goal is to make sure non‑technical teams can set up flows safely, while experienced users still have the freedom to fine‑tune,” Galenko explains, pointing to defaults, warnings, and guided setup for smaller teams alongside deeper automation for power users. For iGaming, this means tightening age and geolocation while sequencing sanctions and document checks as market rules evolve, with guardrails to avoid misconfiguration.
AI defences that update
Liveness combines active and passive 3D detection with anti‑spoofing signals and iBeta Levels 1 and 2 certification, refreshed to counter deepfakes and replay attacks as models iterate. Document checks add hologram and security‑mark validation with texture and metadata analysis across expanding global templates, with outdated versions retired and improvements rolled out quietly to clients. This lifecycle approach gives operators the newest protections without operational disruption or manual upgrade cycles.
Allpass.ai is live and scaling, processing over 200,000 verifications in the past month, with post‑pitch demand sharpening focus on new entrants and smaller brands where cost‑efficient compliance is the market on‑ramp. “We want to be the partner that makes entering the market simple, affordable, and compliant from the start,” says Galenko, adding, “If you stay comfortable, nothing changes. Taking risks is what pushes things forward”. His prior leadership in financial control underscores a pragmatic stance on performance, risk, and oversight in regulated operations.
