It has been an especially busy week in the world of iGaming. Although the 2026 FIFA World Cup is headed into the knockout stages and interest only continues to grow, developments in the gambling industry have not been strictly sports-related, with this week’s Industry Reels roundup covering some major launches and partnerships in different markets, as well as some notable appointments.
Launches and partnerships
EveryMatrix extends Betsson Group partnership with Fantasma Games Launch
iGaming software provider EveryMatrix announced that it has extended its partnership with Betsson Group in a development which will see Betsson launch exclusive in-house content from Fantasma Games.
EveryMatrix stated that this agreement builds on its recent go-live with Betsson Africa in Cameroon, where it said that it delivered a full turnkey casino and sports integration, “including front-end development, player account management, payments, and affiliate management”.
Head of Business Development at EveryMatrix Casino, Mark Hothersall, said that the initial launch with Betsson in Cameroon was “another strong showcase” of EveryMatrix’s ability to support tier-1 operators with scalable, regulated technology.
Betsson Group’s Director of Gaming, Karl Shanz, said that following the successful launch in Cameroon, Betsson saw a “clear opportunity” to explore further areas of collaboration, “with content being a natural next step”.

EveryMatrix announces dedicated new Lottery division
Sticking with EveryMatrix, the iGaming software provider also announced that it has launched a new Lottery division with the aim of developing digital-first technology, features, and functionality for the global lottery industry.
EveryMatrix, which has extensive experience supplying tier-1 lotteries with its turnkey platform, sports, casino technology, and casino content, will now extend its reach with a range of lottery-specific products, including numbers games, pool sports, and a selection of eInstants.
It stated that the new business unit will be dedicated to long-term investment within the sector and expanding the company’s lottery product capabilities. Nikolina Gabelica, who joined EveryMatrix three years ago as Head of Lottery, has been appointed as the business unit’s new Managing Director.
Speaking about this development, Gabelica said that EveryMatrix strongly believes that “there is room in the lottery world for a new approach, bringing modern, modular, and digital-first technologies that help lotteries grow, innovate, and better meet expectations of today’s players”.
She added that “the creation of a dedicated Lottery business unit is a natural next step and an important milestone for EveryMatrix,” and one which she remarked reflects the provider’s long-term commitment to the lottery sector.

GTE Pacific launches in New Zealand ahead of online gambling market opening
Specialist iGaming television advertising agency Global TV Experts (GTE) announced that it has launched GTE Pacific, as it is ready to support licensed online gambling operators entering New Zealand’s newly regulated market.
GTE stated that the launch comes as New Zealand prepares to award up to 15 online casino licences, “creating one of the most significant market entry opportunities in global iGaming”.
The advertising agency continued that with licensed operators expected to begin launching later this year, “competition to establish brand awareness and acquire customers is already intensifying,” and “unlike more mature, regulated markets, New Zealand offers a rare opportunity for operators to enter a market without entrenched online casino brands or established player loyalties”.
With that in mind, GTE Pacific said that, as a means of supporting operators preparing for lunch, it is ready to work with operators to help secure premium national advertising opportunities. It added that it believes “television will play a pivotal role in helping operators build trust, awareness, and market share as consumers are introduced to licensed online gambling brands for the first time”.
GTE founder Ben Wilcockson said that “the winners in New Zealand will be decided long before the first bet is placed,” as he commented that the operators which build awareness first will have a “genuine opportunity to shape the market”.
GTE stated that the launch reflects the growing industry interest in New Zealand’s regulatory reforms and the commercial opportunities expected once licenses are awarded. It added that, “with a finite amount of premium television inventory available and a limited number of operators expected to secure licences, GTE Pacific is encouraging prospective applicants to begin planning their launch strategies well ahead of market opening”.

Gaming Corps launches in Ontario
Sweden-based game development company Gaming Corps announced that it has launched its content with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), in a partnership which it said will bring the development company’s portfolio to OLG’s digital casino audience in Ontario.
Among the titles going live are a number of football-themed offerings, which are particularly thematically appropriate as Canada is currently co-hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a tournament in which the country has secured its position in the knockout stage.
