Gaming solutions provider Ainsworth Game Technology has appointed María Teresa Gonzáles Plaza as Commercial Manager for Peru and Colombia, strengthening its commercial leadership in two of Latin America’s regulated gaming markets. The appointment forms part of the company’s strategy to expand partnerships with operators, broaden its product portfolio and support long term business growth across the region.

Appointment supports regional expansion

Ainsworth said Gonzáles Plaza will play a key role in driving commercial growth in Peru and Colombia. The company is focusing on building stronger relationships with gaming operators while increasing the reach of its products in regulated markets.

According to the company, the appointment reflects its wider plan to strengthen commercial operations and support the rollout of its 2026 product portfolio. It also aims to improve customer profitability by delivering products that meet the needs of gaming operators.

The company said Gonzáles Plaza’s commercial experience and understanding of the regional market will help identify new business opportunities and strengthen its presence in Latin America.

Nearly three decades of industry experience

Gonzáles Plaza brings almost 30 years of experience in the gaming industry. Her career has covered business development, commercial expansion and product positioning across competitive gaming markets.

She spent around 20 years with casino operator Cirsa before moving to the supplier side of the industry, where she has worked for the past seven years.

Her experience combines operational knowledge with commercial expertise, giving her a strong understanding of operator requirements and long term business development.

Ainsworth said her background will support the company’s efforts to expand its customer base while delivering greater value to gaming operators in Peru and Colombia.

The company added that her results focused approach is expected to contribute to the successful launch of its 2026 portfolio across the region.

Focus on customer partnerships

Commenting on her appointment, Gonzáles Plaza said she looks forward to working closely with operators to support mutual business growth.

She said her priority is to identify opportunities that benefit both Ainsworth and its customers while ensuring the company’s gaming solutions provide measurable value to their operations.

Gonzáles Plaza also highlighted the opportunities available in Peru and Colombia. She said there is significant potential to strengthen Ainsworth’s position in both markets through a strategy focused on innovation, sustainability and delivering practical business results for customers.

Continued investment in commercial leadership

Ainsworth said the latest appointment demonstrates its continued investment in experienced commercial professionals as it expands its presence across Latin America.

The company has been strengthening its regional operations as regulated gaming markets continue to develop across the region. By adding experienced industry executives, Ainsworth aims to improve customer engagement, support new product launches and build long term commercial partnerships.

With Gonzáles Plaza leading commercial activities in Peru and Colombia, the company expects to further develop its relationships with operators while supporting the introduction of its 2026 gaming solutions.
