The Alderney Gambling Control Commission has expressed its support for SiGMA World 2026, the flagship SiGMA summit taking place in Rome, Italy, from 02 to 05 November 2026. In an endorsement letter addressed, AGCC Executive Director Andrew Gellatly welcomed the event as an international meeting point for iGaming, betting, regulatory compliance, technology and payments. The endorsement reflects the Commission’s recognition of the value of bringing industry leaders, policymakers, regulators and innovators together in an environment focused on business development and responsible growth.

A forum for regulatory and industry dialogue

According to the letter, the programme will provide space for discussion on regulatory frameworks, responsible gaming, technological innovation, international cooperation and market development. With thousands of delegates expected, alongside a broad group of speakers and exhibitors, the summit presents an opportunity to exchange knowledge, share best practice and build strategic relationships across regional and international markets. “The Alderney Gambling Control Commission supports initiatives to promote transparent, sustainable, and properly regulated sector development,” the letter states.

The Commission also identifies SiGMA World 2026 as an appropriate setting in which to advance these objectives. Participation can help deepen mutual understanding between public authorities and industry stakeholders, while encouraging constructive relationships over the long term.

AGCC consequently reiterated its support for the success of the event and encouraged relevant stakeholders to participate, pointing to the summit’s potential contribution to the responsible growth and continued development of the sector.

AGCC extends its support across SiGMA events

This endorsement follows AGCC’s recent support for SiGMA North America 2026, which will take place in Mexico City from 01 to 03 September. In that endorsement, the Commission similarly highlighted regulatory dialogue, responsible gaming, international cooperation and stronger engagement between public authorities and industry participants.

The support for both events places attention on themes that extend beyond individual markets. Regulation, technological change, payments and responsible gaming continue to shape the sector internationally, making informed discussion between public and private stakeholders increasingly relevant.

SiGMA World prepares for Rome

SiGMA World 2026 will bring its conference, exhibition and related event programme to Rome over four days. The official summit programme includes the SiGMA World Awards and SiGMA World Pitch, alongside sessions and opportunities for participants to connect.

The AGCC endorsement adds an established regulatory voice to the conversation ahead of the event. It also reinforces the summit’s stated role as a meeting place where regulatory priorities and commercial developments can be considered within the same international setting.
