Lotte Tour Development reported a sharp rise in casino revenue at Jeju Dream Tower in June, supported by higher visitor numbers and continued growth in table game play. The South Korean integrated resort also posted higher hotel revenue, while first-half results showed strong gains across both its gaming and hospitality businesses.
Casino revenue records double-digit annual growth
Lotte Tour Development said in its business performance report released on 1 July that casino sales at Jeju Dream Tower reached KRW48.72 billion ($31.3 million) in June, an increase of 36.1 per cent from KRW35.8 billion ($23 million) in the same month last year.
The casino welcomed 61,146 visitors during the month, up 18.7 per cent from 51,515 visitors in June 2025.
Compared with May, casino revenue slipped 1.4 per cent from KRW49.42 billion ($31.7 million), although visitor traffic remained strong.
Table games continue to lead performance
Table games remained the main driver of gaming revenue during June.
Revenue from table games totalled KRW47.2 billion ($30.3 million), marking a 37.4 per cent increase year-on-year. The figure was also 0.4 per cent higher than in May, highlighting stable demand despite the slight decline in overall casino revenue.
Machine gaming revenue stood at KRW1.52 billion ($1 million). The total was 5.7 per cent higher than a year earlier but fell 37.3 per cent compared with May.
The latest figures indicate that table games continued to account for almost all of the casino’s monthly gaming revenue.
Hotel business posts higher revenue
The company’s hotel operations also reported growth during June.
Hotel revenue increased 17.6 per cent year-on-year to KRW8.03 billion ($5.2 million), compared with KRW6.83 billion in June last year. On a monthly basis, hotel sales rose 7.2 per cent from KRW7.49 billion ($4.8 million) in May.
The improvement in hotel revenue came alongside the increase in casino visitors during the month.
First-half results remain ahead of last year
For the first six months of 2026, Jeju Dream Tower generated casino revenue of KRW265.72 billion ($170.6 million), up 36.6 per cent from KRW194.58 billion ($124.9 million) in the corresponding period of 2025.
Table game revenue for the January to June period increased 37.4 per cent to KRW253.75 billion ($162.9 million), while machine gaming revenue rose 20.7 per cent to KRW11.97 billion ($7.7 million).
The resort’s hotel business also continued its growth trajectory, with first-half hotel revenue reaching KRW40.92 billion ($26.3 million), an increase of 13.8 per cent compared with the same period last year.
The latest performance extends Jeju Dream Tower’s strong start to 2026, with both casino and hotel operations recording year-on-year growth during June and across the first half of the year.
Casino ‘utilisation phase’
In June, Lotte Tour Development said casino growth at Jeju Dream Tower has moved beyond its ramp-up phase and entered a new “utilisation phase” from January 2026, as rising awareness of the integrated resort continues to drive revenue, gaming volumes and visitation.
According to an investor relations presentation uploaded to the company’s website on 15 June, Lotte Tour defined the period from October 2023 to December 2025 as a “Ramp-Up Phase”, during which market awareness of the property was established. The company said that growing recognition of Jeju Dream Tower has now supported its transition into a “Utilisation Phase” beginning in January 2026.
The presentation stated that the casino had entered the utilisation stage “through increased awareness” after passing through the 2024-2025 ramp-up period.
