The final days of the nomination period for the SiGMA North America Awards 2026 are approaching, with nominations and self-nominations set to close on 31 July. Companies, projects and individuals working across the gambling industry now have a limited window in which to put forward the work they believe deserves recognition.

The Awards will be held on 01 September at the Hyatt Regency Mexico City as part of SiGMA North America, which runs in the Mexican capital from 01 to 03 September 2026. As previously announced, BetConstruct is the title sponsor of the ceremony.

A final chance to enter the running

Anyone working in the gambling industry may nominate a company, project or person in one of the listed categories. Self-nominations are also open, allowing organisations and professionals to present their own achievements for consideration rather than wait for somebody else to submit their name.

The remaining window also gives peers, partners and colleagues an opportunity to bring deserving work forward. If a team or individual has delivered results that match a category’s criteria, a nomination places that achievement into the formal selection process.

The categories cover a wide cross-section of the industry. Player Champions includes awards for casino and sportsbook operators serving North America and Latin America, alongside Best Player Experience and Rising Star Operator. Content Masters covers games, studios, design and live casino provision, while the Architects group recognises the platforms, aggregators and payment solutions that support operators.

The Pacesetters group includes categories for AI, innovation, responsible gaming and outstanding contribution. Affiliates, marketing campaigns and influencers are represented through the Growth Makers, while the Hall of Game sits within Trust and Impact. Entrants should review the full category descriptions before deciding where their nomination best fits.

What happens after 31 July?

Once nominations close, five entries in each category will be shortlisted. The shortlist will be announced on 17 August, when voting opens to the public and the judging panel. Judges will account for 70 per cent of the final result, with the public vote contributing the remaining 30 per cent. Voting closes on 31 August, one day before the Awards night.

A nomination should make a clear case for the company, project or individual being submitted. Whether the entry concerns an operator, game, platform, payment product, affiliate campaign or industry contribution, the deadline remains the same. Submissions made after 31 July will miss the published nomination window.

There is still time to put strong candidates forward and bring their achievements to the attention of the judging panel. Review the available honours and submit a nomination or self-nomination before entries close on 31 July.
