With the opening of a managed service centre in Santiago de Chile, TG Lab advances in consolidating its operational structure across Latin America. The new facility, which begins with 60 specialists, responds to the growing regional demand for technological support and local operations for online gaming in a sector undergoing accelerated regulatory and digitalisation processes in Spanish-speaking countries.

According to information provided by the company, the Chilean team will work in areas related to casino and sports betting management, as well as loyalty, affiliation, and customer service programmes. Operational functions will also include fraud prevention, identity verification, and payment monitoring.
The new Managed Services Centre aims to consolidate TG Lab’s operations in the main Spanish-speaking markets, with an emphasis on technical assistance, account management, and regulatory support for local operators.
In countries such as Peru, Colombia, Paraguay, and Argentina, the digital platform provider is already present, offering technological infrastructure to operators of regulated games. The purpose of this new branch is to enhance operational efficiency in those markets and help its platforms adapt to the region’s diverse regulatory contexts.
The company has stated that it plans to expand its operations to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Ecuador, markets currently at different stages of opening or regulating online gaming. Through this expansion, it seeks to build a regional support network allowing local projects to be managed by staff based within Latin America.
Regulatory boom in Latin America drives operational hubs for online gaming in Chile
The establishment of the hub in Chile coincides with a period in which several Latin American countries are reviewing their regulatory models for online gaming. Over the weekend, a protest of iGaming industry workers took place outside the Congress of the Republic in Lima, opposing the current tax burden on betting in Peru.
Chile, where a bill to regulate the sector is still under debate, has become a focus point for developers looking to anticipate future market openings. The Lithuanian technology group’s decision to establish its operational base in Santiago de Chile, according to internal sources, stems both from the availability of specialised talent and the opportunity to forge ties with a transforming market.
Moreover, the Latin American environment presents additional challenges. Companies are being forced to decentralise certain operations due to factors such as regulatory fragmentation, the need for cultural and linguistic adaptation, and discrepancies in user and payment verification methods. From that standpoint, a localised centre allows them to test processes, ensure support within similar time zones, and tailor solutions to each country.
Technical talent and data: pillars of TG Lab’s new technological operation in Chile
TG Lab’s Chief Executive Officer, Ugnius Simelonis, explained that the establishment of the Chilean centre followed a year-long analysis of the availability of technical staff and the evolution of the country’s digital market. According to the executive, the new centre will coordinate key functions such as operations management and support for Spanish-speaking clients.
Simelonis noted that the project was designed with an operational rather than a commercial focus and that its immediate goal is to strengthen internal management, automation, and data analysis capabilities in the region. By doing so, the company aims to reinforce a support model that combines technological efficiency with a deeper understanding of the local context.
The centre will feature infrastructure for monitoring remote operations, analysing performance metrics, and executing functions related to user experience and customer retention. At a corporate level, it also marks progress towards regionalising processes that were previously dependent on European bases such as Vilnius or Malta.
Brazil lays the groundwork for technological integration, reaching Chile
The Chilean project comes after TG Lab’s previous growth in Brazil, where the iGaming software provider integrated SysGaming to construct its first South American operating centre. It was able to add local knowledge to its worldwide structure and grow its personnel in Foz do Iguaň thanks to that combination.
The multinational with headquarters in Vilnius acknowledged that after integrating with Brazil, a number of operators observed improvements in operational KPIs as a result of automation and real-time analytics applied to their platforms. It did admit, though, that these outcomes are more dependent on each partner’s level of technological maturity than on a single structural component.
LatAm attracts data centres to streamline platform management
This new hub highlights the increasing importance of specialist technology services in the area, which goes beyond the company’s internal objectives. Having infrastructure situated in South America provides a real competitive edge in a market where the majority of operators look for regionally compatible solutions, regional payment options, and Spanish-language support.
From a wider perspective, this expansion illustrates an upward trend among global gaming providers: relocating part of their operations to Latin America to strengthen their regional presence and reduce administrative costs. This movement reflects both the digitalisation of gaming services and the increasing relevance of data centres and technical infrastructure located within operating jurisdictions.
For the time being, the Chilean centre will start with a stable technical team and distributed support functions focused on cross-country coordination. Its initial performance will serve as an indicator of the operational maturity the company can achieve by transferring part of its management to Latin American territory.
