BiS SiGMA South America
At BiS SiGMA South America 2026, business-to-government (B2G) engagement emerged as a defining feature of the region’s evolving iGaming landscape. As Latin America moves towards more structured and regulated markets, direct interaction between public institutions and industry stakeholders is becoming essential to how these frameworks take shape.
This was particularly evident in Brazil, where the rollout of the federal betting framework has shifted attention from policy design to real-world implementation. Regulators, tax authorities, and institutional actors are now actively engaging with operators and suppliers to better understand the operational realities of the market.
The summit in São Paulo, which welcomed 15,800 delegates, reflected this shift. Alongside industry participants, a strong presence of government representatives, regulators, and international delegations highlighted the growing importance of public–private coordination.
At the centre of this engagement were the B2G initiatives. Around 40 high-level delegates, including diplomats, regulatory bodies, and lottery institutions participated in curated tours across the expo floor. These tours offered direct exposure to key industry verticals, from operators and platform providers to compliance infrastructure and state lottery systems.Rather than remaining at the level of formal dialogue, these interactions focused on practical understanding, how licensing models function, how compliance is implemented, and how technology supports regulated environments.
In this sense, the B2G format acted as a working tool, enabling more informed decision-making and fostering alignment between regulators and the private sector. As regulatory frameworks continue to evolve across Latin America, this type of engagement is becoming increasingly important. Markets are developing at different speeds, and effective coordination between governments and industry will play a central role in ensuring sustainable growth. BiS SiGMA South America 2026 demonstrated that B2G is no longer a side initiative, but a core component of how the region’s gaming ecosystem is being shaped.

SiGMA Asia
Asia has become one of the most influential regions in the global gaming and emerging tech landscape. It is a region shaped by rapid digital expansion, energetic economies, and governments that are steadily building frameworks to support responsible development. The result is a market that continues to push boundaries in regulation, technology, and investment.
Over the last few years, the SiGMA Asia Summit has grown into a major platform for dialogue between business leaders, public institutions, and policymakers. The 2025 edition in Manila welcomed more than 13,000 delegates and brought together a mix of gaming stakeholders, technology innovators, and regional decision makers. The event showcased Asia’s unique ability to blend entertainment, technology, and social impact, supported by the strong presence of the SiGMA Foundation and its charitable programmes.
Across the continent, national authorities are adopting clearer regulatory tracks for gaming, payments, and digital services. Markets such as the Philippines continue to refine operational standards through agencies that actively engage with industry partners. This has helped establish the country as a leading hub for gaming in the region, supported by a steady rise in investment and international partnerships. Meanwhile, neighbouring markets in East and Southeast Asia explore new approaches to digital regulation, consumer protection, and cross border collaboration.
SiGMA Asia aims to support this momentum by offering a structured environment where governments and industry can engage in open discussion. Through roundtable sessions, ministerial talks, and regulatory showcases, the summit provides a trusted space for examining market shifts, compliance expectations, and long-term opportunities. It is an environment designed for both knowledge exchange and practical cooperation.
Beyond the main conference, the event places strong emphasis on business development and regional integration. Exhibitions highlight solutions in emerging technology, digital payments, esports, affiliate marketing, and responsible gaming tools. Together, these elements reflect Asia’s growing commitment to building a mature, well-governed, and innovation-driven gaming ecosystem.
The future of Asia’s gaming and tech industries is shaped by three core priorities: trust, regulation, and sustainable growth. As the region continues to refine its legal frameworks and strengthen oversight, SiGMA remains a reliable partner for governments and organisations seeking informed dialogue, global connections, and long-term development strategies.
